Works as advertised, could use a little UI Polish

Gets the job done, its nice for keeping track of important things you have trouble getting to on a daily basis. The UI is OK, could use a little polish to feel more like iOS.

Best Habit Tracker

I have been looking for an app like this for awhile. Great job so far! My biggest peeve is the view is per category. Maybe having a way to see all tasks, from all categories, would be a good addition? Plus the UI needs a bit more polish. Looking forward to updates!

Fantastic!

Its extremely versatile, and for that reason I think Ill keep finding new ways to use it. My only critique would be that the UI needs some work. Switching between categories and views is somewhat tedious, and the graphics and icons could be more attractive/ polished. I respect the developers for putting functionality before appearances though. What matters is that its well thought out and it works really well!

Great once its set up

I really like this app, and have found it very useful for developing better habits. I agree with many reviews below that the UI and graphing functions could be a little smoother, and syncing between devices would be nice for sure. What I love is that I figured out how to assign the different little icons to different categories and type in my own ratings ( like great, ok, could be worse, not so much) to make myself chuckle even if I dont meet my goals. Nice app; I hope the developers are reading the comments.

It tracks everything. I didnt find it too tough to set up either. This was literally exactly what I was looking for. Way to go guys!

Like but room for improvement

This app has potential, I do like it but at one point I lost all my entries and I have no idea what happened. One thing I would like, I know it is minor, but it would be nice if the text and icons were just a little bit smaller, more of the entries appearing on one page.

by Theophilus Still is wanting space for longer or more lines of text in habits. Is there a way to add the day number ? It would be very helpfull. Previous review New opinion: could the text spaces be flexible, that is longer lines, more lines? The app was okay. Now youve changed the looks, which is fine. BUT Ive lost the background images I had in the different tracking calendars. The button to place them has dissapeared. The app has lost part of its enchantment... It is a real pitty. But maybe you can correct that and retur the user the posibility to chose images for his tasks and let them appear in the boxes of the tracking calenars. Besides some things are not working well either. For example, the graphics dont have the labels you annouce in your instruccions. No new icons have been added. As balanced i dont appreciate the changes, the app has not changed for good, and the changes are minor.

A little bit quirky, so be prepared to spend some time learning this apps ins and outs. If youre puzzled by something, Ive found the developer responds to queries promptly.

Great app, can be customized.

Ive tried a number of habit tracking apps and I like this one the best. One of the biggest things I like about this app is how easy it is to see what you want to track. Most of the other apps had really tiny font with no icons, just boring and overall difficult to use. This one is very fast because the icons are bold and the text is easy to read. A few simple clicks and youre done recording. This is a very versatile app. You can choose a number of formats for tracking: yes/no; counter (number of times you did something); number; levels; etc. You can also enter in multiple entries throughout the day and choose to add up the entries, which is very beneficial for some habits. For example, if you want to track how many calories you take in, you can create a food entry using the "number" choice and choose to "add up the entries" for the day, week, or month. You simply click the icon on the tracking screen and it automatically creates an entry based on date/time (which you can adjust). There is a space for a notation (maybe what you ate), then you enter the calories as the number and enter it. You can do this throughout the day and the app will automatically count up the numbers. If you have a goal, you can set that too to see if youve reached your goal or have gone over it. This app is very flexible. You can change the icons for any data set (dont like the thumbs-up? find others you like), add notes to entries, and organize your habits as you wish into multiple categories. In the "View" option, you can change an entry if you made a mistake by simply clicking on that entry. In "Tracking" you will see three different types of graphs and you can quickly switch between them by touching the "Style" button and cycling through until you find the one you want. There is also a "Mean" option. The program remembers the last graph style you chose, so you can set it and forget. Each entry can have a different graph style (as long as the data supports graphing). The only qualms I have with this app is the way to adjust categories and entries. If you hit the "Categories" option on the bottom left, you are taken to a screen wherein you can easily adjust the categories. That is fine, but where are the items? This option is a bit hidden. You have to choose the "Setting" option to find "Edit Items". Once in there, it is easy to adjust tracking color, text, etc. and even which category to place an item. Its just getting there took me a while to find, I kept expecting it to be somewhere obvious. I dont dislike the fact that it is hidden a bit, I dont want to constantly be accidentally hitting an edit button when all I want to do is enter a habit, but I think I would prefer to have an Item button along the bottom instead of a "Share" button. I dont understand the purpose of sharing these things, they tend to be personal, but Im sure there are people who are proud of everything they do. The other thing I dont really like is what it takes to switch between categories. This is a personal preference, but when Im looking at the title of the category, I would prefer to just hit that and have a drop-down list of my categories to choose or even to cycle through them on the "view" screen. With more than ten categories, maybe that gets cumbersome, but it annoys me to have to go to the bottom of the screen, hit "categories", and choose what I want. Overall, its a great app that can be customized to anything you want, icons and all. I havent thought of anything yet that this app cant easily track to my specifications.

Great Idea

The idea of a habit tracker app is excellent however, after spending hours of research in looking for a great app. I chose this one only because there is nothing better. Let me tell a main feature that many people would agree an app like this should have and that is REMINDERS. An app like this should have access to iPhone Calendar and iPhone reminders. A great app that has this and is free is Goals Wizard by Brain Tracy. This app is excellent except that it does not have the ability to track habits. Please developer the least you could do is to add reminders for my habits.

Pretty darn useful!

Normally I dont pay for apps. Its just a thing. However, other than a few nitpicky details, this $5 app exceeded my expectations! Great options for customization, trend graphs, generally intuitive user interface. So far not regretting my purchase. ;)

Use it Every Day

I use this app every day. It is part of my morning routine. I love the versatility. I use it for tracking my devotion times in the morning, even putting my notes in it. I also use it for tracking my health habits. I love the graphs. I can see how my weight trends and how it relates to how much water I am drinking and how much exercise I am getting. I use it for tracking my special needs sons behavior and both of the kids chores. It has so many uses all in one app. Thanks!
